HOW DO YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH A PERSON WHO DOESN'T UNDERSTAND THE WAY CERTAIN THINGS MAKE YOU HAPPY.

HOW DO YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH A PERSON WHO HAS YET TO MEMORIZE EVERY SCAR, BONE, MOVEMENT OF YOUR BODY.

THE WAY YOUR SMILE FORMS INTO A CRESCENT MOON, THE WAY YOU BITE YOUR LIP TO KEEP FROM THROWING YOUR HEAD INTO THE CLOUDS LAUGHING.

HOW DO YOU FALL IN LOVE WITH SOMEONE WHO HASN'T FALLEN IN LOVE WITH YOU?

HER

SHE ATTRACTED YOU WITH THE SWEETNESS SHE SEEMED TO HOLD

ENTICING IN FACT

IT CALLED YOU IN FOR MORE.

HER SMILE HELD A POWER YOU COULDN'T RESIST

BUT HER EYES HELD WORDS UNSPOKEN

SHE WAS BEAUTIFUL AND ATTRACTIVE

MYSTERIOUS IN A SENSE

THAT WAS THE MOST ENDEARING

IT CALLED ME IN TO READ HER MIND

ONCE I GOT TO KNOW HER I REALIZED HER THROAT HAD BEEN CONGESTED WITH THE WORDS SHE WASN'T ALLOWED TO SPEAK

HER WORDS THEN SEEMED TO BREAK OUT AND BRING WARMTH UPON MY SKIN.

HER HEARTS BEATING RHYTHM WAS HOME TO ME.

THE SKIN THAT RAN ALONG HER CURVES WAS THE AIR I BREATHED EVERYDAY.

HER MIND WAS THE MAP I WANTED TO TRAVEL

AND I SET MY JOURNEY FORTH

I NEVER KNEW THAT I'D FIND MYSELF WITHIN THAT JOURNEY

SHE WAS MY JOURNEY.

BODY POSITIVITY

We currently live in a world where, putting others down is popularity and putting yourself down has become the new self love.  No lovelies. We need body positivity in this world.  Fall in love with your body and face because trust me, I know it's damn beautiful.  Never put yourself down.  Everyone is different and everyone has flaws, no one is perfect, perfection is an idea created by the media using machines and technology, that isn't man made. Fall in love with you skin color, your height, the shape of your body, whether you have curves or not, whether you have one too many freckles or no freckles at all, your course hair that is difficult to tame, or your flat hair, its all damn beautiful and wonderful. No one can tell you you aren't beautiful enough, and you can't ever believe you aren't because regardless of what you may or may not like, there will be someone who loves all of you, every highlight of your personality to every dark corner of your soul.  But first you must learn to love yourself because you are what's most important, always.  You come first no matter what. Love who you are becuase you only have this body, this home, this temple. You will be much more happy once you fall in love with the most beautiful creation ever made, you. This will bring happier days and happier moments. Got a part of your body you don't like? Don't hide it, show it off, show what you got, own it. There's nothing more beautiful than confidence, in any person, regardless of gender. 

One other important thing. LOVE OTHERS and never ever ever put them down.  Just like yourself many are also struggling to love every single aspect of their body.  Love others and show them that together we can fight this bully and harassment because that's not the job of human.  We must come together and show kindness. Kindness is what makes the world go round because if we lift each other up instead of putting them down, we can accomplish much more.

Forgotten - A Poem

"I'm homesick for your arms.

But you've already forgotten my touch. 

I can replay your smile and your laugh over and over again as if my memories are a broken record.

My mind drifts to the way your smile curves into a crescent smirk whenever you got a little playful at night.

My eyelids close shut and I can't help but remember the way you tousled your hair when you got nervous. 

I remember I used to make you nervous.

But now you can't even remember the sound of my voice.

I remember the way your eyes crinkle in the corner every time you throw your head back laughing. Your mind too high to remember my face.

the blue moon comes up and i see your green eyes.

I remember the little tiny parts of your character you never seemed to like.

but you can't even remember my name anymore."
